Paws & Pages: Our Weekly Volunteer Work with Pasadena Humane Society
At MKHS Tax Group, giving back to our community is more than a value—it’s a weekly tradition. Every week, we volunteer at the Pasadena Humane Society by reading to shelter dogs. This quiet time helps the dogs get used to human voices, builds trust, and increases their chances of being adopted. It’s a small act with a big impact—and something we look forward to every time. This week, we’d love to introduce you to four incredible dogs we had the privilege of spending time with:

HOW DO YOU ADOPT A DOG?
Walk-in adoptions are available every day from 10:00 – 5:00. View photos of adoptable pets at pasadenahumane.org.
New adopters will receive a complimentary health-and-wellness exam from VCA Animal Hospitals, as well as a goody bag filled with information about how to care for your pet. Pets may not be available for adoption and cannot be held for potential adopters by phone calls or email.
