May Sung, the owner of MKHS Tax Group is an experienced IRS Enrolled Agent with over 10 years of expertise in the field of taxation. She graduated with a Masters of Arts in Museum Studies at New York University and Masters in Accountancy from San Jose State University. She originally worked in the arts industry for years before switching careers into taxation. She has worked in many multi-national and regional firms. She chose to venture out on her own to help educate small businesses, individuals, expatriates, and nonresidents on their US taxes. Her mission is to provide clear, understandable tax advice, empowering her clients to make informed decisions about their financial future.  Her vast knowledge includes taxation of individuals, partnerships, corporations, and S-corporations, as well as international taxation giving her a well-rounded approach to a wide array of tax challenges.

Specializing in international/cross-border taxation, May understands the complexities of international tax issues. Her hands-on experience includes addressing the nuanced tax implications that arise for those working and living abroad, ensuring compliance while optimizing tax positions for her clients.
